Terms of Service

Welcome to DomKeeper ("the Service"). By using the Service you agree to the following terms.

1. Nature of the service

The Service is a free, individually-operated screenshot cloud-storage tool. It is not a commercial product, has no SLA, makes no uptime guarantee, and may be discontinued at any time. Treat the Service as an experimental free utility and keep an independent copy of anything you actually care about.

2. Accounts

Using the Service requires a Google account. One Google account corresponds to one DomKeeper account. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure; if your DomKeeper data is exposed because your Google account was compromised, the responsibility is yours.

3. Usage limits

Current free-tier limits:

• Per-file size: 20 MB
• Total storage per account: 1 GB
• Upload frequency: up to 30 per minute

These limits may be adjusted; changes will be surfaced via the in-extension dialog.

4. Prohibited content and conduct

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Absolute zero-tolerance, no exceptions. We will report any discovered material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or the relevant Chinese authority as required by law.
• Illegal drug or weapon trafficking, or other material related to illegal activity.
• Terrorism or violent-extremism propaganda.
• Privacy-violating material — e.g., non-consensual intimate imagery, private messages of others.
• Material that obviously infringes third-party copyright at scale. (Limited personal-use screenshots are acceptable; systematic harvesting is not.)
• Material intended for fraud, phishing, or social-engineering attacks.

In addition, you must not:

• Attempt to bypass authentication or quota mechanisms.
• Use scripts or automation to exhaust server resources.
• Launch DoS or other security attacks against the Service.
• Reverse-engineer the Service to find undisclosed vulnerabilities for malicious use.

5. Content ownership and responsibility

You retain full rights to anything you upload. We only host your data on your behalf and serve it back to you on request.

By uploading, you represent and warrant that:

• You have the right to upload the material (i.e., the source page either explicitly permits it, or the law permits it).
• The material does not violate Section 4.
• You are solely responsible for any legal disputes arising from material you upload.

6. Access to your content

The Service operator does not routinely look at your uploads. We may need to access content only in these cases:

• To investigate a technical issue (and only to the minimum necessary extent).
• To respond to a valid legal request from law enforcement.
• To investigate activity suspected of violating Section 4.

7. Changes and termination

We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or permanently terminate the Service at any time (we will try to notify you in advance via the in-extension dialog).
• Suspend accounts that violate these Terms without prior notice.
• Adjust quotas, pricing (currently free), and feature set.

For permanent shutdown of the Service, we will provide at least 30 days' notice and an opportunity to export your data.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Availability (the Service may be interrupted due to server failure, network problems, etc.)
• Data integrity (despite reasonable safeguards, disk failure / operator mistakes / malicious intrusion could cause data loss)
• Fitness for any particular purpose

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service operator is not liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any disputes shall be resolved by the courts having jurisdiction over the location of the server.
